Director of Maison de Victor Hugo, joint curator of Hugo exhibitions
Gérard Audinet is director of Maison de Victor Hugo in Paris and Guernsey, an island in the English Channel. He worked as curators for various exhibitions during his 20 years’ stay at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris. Recently, he devotes himself to the expansion of the museum on Place des Vosges and the development and restoration of Hauteville House in Guernsey. He is a passionate learner of the visual representation of Victor Hugo’s works.
